Khushab: Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir (PM AJK) Raja Mohammad Farooq Haider Khan has said that victims of Mangla Dam has migrated and immensely sacrificed from their homeland to meet energy crisis in Pakistan.
He expressed his views while addressing the gathering of victims of Mangla Dam and refugees of Jammu and Kashmir in Khushab here on Sunday.
Senator Ghos Ali Shah Niazi, MNA Shakir Bashir Awan, President of PML-N Khushab Muhammad Nazir Inqalabi, Ghulam Muhammad Twana, Muhammad Younis, Administrator Municipal Corporation Mirpur Chaudhry Muhammad Malik and others also addressed the function.
Speaking on the occasion, PM AJK said that we have included the victims of Mangla dam in the list of affected refugees last year and constitution has been also amended in this regard, adding that he said that next week, another constitutional amendment after meeting with Prime Minister Pakistan, victims of Mangla Dam will be included in 25% quota for Pakistan-based refugees.
“There are 649 cases pending regarding ownership of land which will soon be addressed and Senior Member Board of Revenue will visit Lahore to resolve these cases before long.” Prime Minister maintained.
