Karachi: The wave of quitting parties prevails and another kite cut to join Pak Sarzameen party as Sindh Assembly member Haji Anwar Raza has decided to quit the Mutahida Qoumi Movement joined PSP.
Sindh Assembly lawmaker of the MQM-P Bahadurabad group Haji Anwar Raza decided to quit the MQM and said “It’s the party of opportunists now”.
Earlier the two female MPAs of Bahadurabad group have joined PSP recently and Raza is the third MQM lawmaker from the faction to quit the party.
The MPA met Mustafa Kamal and Anis Kaimkhani on Tuesday. He announced his decision at a press conference in Karachi on Wednesday.
In December last year, Raza was booked on charges of attacking media representatives and Karachi Development Authority officials during an anti-encroachment drive in District Central.
