Sirengar: Bhaderwah observed completed shutdown on Saturday to protest the civilian killings in Kashmir.
The shops and business establishments of majority community in Bhaderwah remained closed while public transport was off the roads. However, private vehicles were plying.
The bandh was called by Anjuman Islamia Bhaderwah.
Authorities had deployed security men in strength in Bhaderwah town and its adjoining areas to maintain law and order.
“Today’s Bandh is to show solidarity with people of Kashmir, who are being harassed by forces and police. The bandh was also to protest against civilian killings in Kashmir,” said Secretary Anjuman Islamia, Saleem Rehman Sambari .
