The students of Computer Science and IT Department from Women University Bagh have completed their winter internships at National Institute of Electronics (NIE).
The student of WUAJK under headship of Syeda Uzma Gardazi worked on FMB 001 Vehicle Health Monitoring and Tracking System during their internship at NIE. The National Institute of Electronics is a research institution coming under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of Pakistan. To make students more practical few students of BS- IT 7th Semester completed their internships at Circular Byte software House, where they learned to develop the Mobile and Andriod Applications. The basic purpose of this internship program was to enhance the practical skills of students.
Beside these skills development the university arranged a session with officials of National Resource Center for Cyber Crime a wing of FIA as well. Which was aimed at helping the students to understand the basics of usage of IT and computer science knowledge in coping with cyber crimes.
According to head of the department Ms. Syeda Uzma Gardazi, the basic purpose of this internship program was to enhance the capabilities and skills of the students who have completed their degrees or still in University. They were sent to different departments and software houses because of their interests in different fields. She further ensure that the administration will keep this system intact in future as well.
