Islamabad: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has assured that Pakistan will continue its cooperation with fair intentions for political reconciliation in Afghanistan.
Talking to US Special Representative for Afghanistan Reconciliation Zalmay Khalilzad in Islamabad on Tuesday, he said peace in Afghanistan is in the best interest of Pakistan.

The Foreign Minister said Prime Minister Imran Khan has welcomed US President Donald Trump’s letter seeking Pakistan’s cooperation for reconciliation process in Afghanistan.
Ambassador Zalmay Khalilzad briefed the Foreign Minister about the US President’s letter written to Prime Minister Imran Khan for getting Pakistan’s cooperation regarding Afghan reconciliation process.
This is the second visit of Zalmay Khalilzad to Pakistan in his current capacity.
