ISLAMABAD: In a meeting of Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet chaired by Minister Finance Asad Umar, rupees two billion for low income groups is approved in Ramazan Relief Package.
For Textile Division, a supplementary grant of Rs. 16.976 million is also approved by the committee.
Another supplementary grant of Rs. 7415.486 million is also approved for Finance Division for financial inclusion and infrastructure projects. While Rs. 562 million as technical supplementary grant and Rs. 742.531 million for SAP Software License payment are also approved by the committee.
With a motive to boost the overall revenue collection capacity of Federal Board of Revenue, a supplementary grant of one billion is also approved by the ECC.
In order to pay the outstanding dues to the legal heirs of deceased employees of Pakistan Steel Mills on account of Provident Fund, Gratuity and Payroll, the Committee approved grant for the purpose which will help address the problems of the legal heirs of deceased employees.
